The Pantry of H.O.P.E. is now up, outside in our garden by the main door.
You may have seen a "Free Little Pantry" on poles around the neighbourhoods. The concept started out as a library, holding books to be exchanged, but in many communities they have been converted to pantries holding dry food items and canned goods. Project H.O.P.E. has set up one of these pantries to help nourish our community - we invite those in need to take items from the pantry when they are needed. We also welcome contributions of dry, non-perishable food items (Items such as: boxed juices, canned 2% milk, canned meats, peanut butter and sidekick noodle packages are very well received by those we help.)
Contributions can also be put directly into the pantry (if there is room), or dropped off at the church during open hours and those items will be used for replenishing the pantry as needed.
